change....

wow ... 2011 is over and it is now 2012. a lot has happened including finding a job outside the home and putting the card business on the shelf for awhile. it was a tough decision but am now feeling good about it. some days i feel like a bit of a failure but most days i realize i just didn't have time and that is ok. i love my job and am happy to consistently contribute to my household. it was a juggling act at first but it is going well and am thriving in the new environment. hope your 2012 is starting off well and am hoping to dive into different creative endeavors periodically. thanks.

these tags say 'besos' which means kisses in spanish and sending those out to the great women who took time to talk with me about selling my cards in their shops (shout out to Lisa at Butterscotch and Sarah at POSH!). retail vs. wholesale and the whole idea of a 'business' was truly fascinating and i was thrilled with their suggestions, thoughts, and ideas. i feel like i am at a crossroads with where to go next and how to focus my business so this was a great day to have this opportunity.

and, as always, a special thanks to my favorite typewriter shop who put in a new ribbon for only $5. am in search of a spanish language typewriter for a spanish line of cards!

too many products and ideas!

had a great meeting with a woman who is a marketing expert and she mentioned that i had too many products and what did i want to do with my busines..??!! she was right on even after just 30 minutes!!!! zoinks! so, what to do but take pictures of the inventory and post on etsy soon. here's a sneak peak - check www.clothespincards.etsy.com soon!!!
