i have dreamed of putting cards together with oil cloth and here are some samples! aren't they cute!? i love the checks with the polka dots!
this one is a bit random but love the oil cloth - it reminds me of a tablecloth my grandmother had in the day!
this one is a bit different as it is with sparkly silver paper instead of oil cloth but i did this for a woman who owns a dress shop in portland and she wanted thank you cards.
This picture is my absolute favorite of my grandmothers. It was August 16, 1964 at the wedding of my parents. The fun thing is that both of my grandmothers were named Florence and their birthdays both in March.
Today is my grandma's birthday (the one on the left) and her typewriter is what I use for my cards. She loved getting mail and we have recently gone through her 'saved' letters and there were so many that she kept from every special event in her life. I think she knew her mailman's name and life story and loved to be remembered via mail.
I miss her every day and hope that she knows we would be writing letters to her still.
Remember your grandmother today or anyone else that has been an important force in your life.

How is this for a RAD logo thanks to my friend Randi! She free lanced it and I'm putting it on my business cards. I love the authenticity of it and the sketch nature of it. My grandmother would have loved it and so do I!
The sunshine is out and I would love to use my collection of clothespins to hang some clothes but am sure that we're not quite there on March 1st! Send a card today...someone will appreciate it!
I love to send cards and with this business, hope to inspire people to send cards. I love to open my mail box and see a handwritten envelope just to me! I want my creations to inspire others to take the time to handwrite a note to someone and enjoy the feeling of putting pen to paper on a fun, meaningful card. Do something fun today and send a card to someone you're thinking about just because.
